WILLIAMSTOWN, MA -- Williams College senior guard Bobby Casey (Scranton, Pa.) has been named to the National Basketball Coaches Association (NABC) Northeast Region First Team in voting by the region's coaches.
"I'm incredibly proud of Bobby for being recognized by the NABC," said Eph head coach Kevin App. "This season he demonstrated the ability to lead a team to success with his personality, play-making, and scoring. That balance is incredibly difficult, yet Bobby worked at it and became an impact player in our region."
This year Casey started and played in all 30 games for the Ephs and led the team in scoring with 546 points (18.2), assists (133), and minutes played (947).
Casey ranks 6th all-time in scoring at Williams with 1,516 points and is 10th all-time in assists with 320. His 546 points this year is the 12th highest single season total at Williams.
Casey is the all-time leader in three-pointers made at Williams with 273 and he averaged 13.2 ppg in the 116 games he played in the Purple Valley.
Previously this winter Casey was named to the All-NESCAC First Team for the second year in a row and to the D3Hoops.com All-Northeast First Team.
