Ryan Wilkinson is entering his first season as an Assistant Coach for the Williams College men’s hockey team in 2023-24.

Wilkinson is joining the Ephs after spending the past two years with the University of Nebraska Omaha Mavericks where he held the position of Graduate Assistant Coach. While at Omaha, Wilkinson had several different roles, including player development and individual skill analysis, faceoff coach and assistant power play coach.

Prior to joining the Omaha Mavericks, Wilkinson spent four years coaching at the Okanagan Hockey Academy Edmonton, spending his first three years as an assistant coach and skills coach. He helped lead the team to regular season and playoff championships (2017-18) and a playoff championship final appearance (2018-19). In his final year, Wilkinson was named a Head Coach and Head Skills and Tactics Coordinator (2020-21).

Wilkinson played collegiately for SUNY Fredonia for four years, graduating magna cum laude with a bachelor's in exercise science in 2016. He then went on to play a year professionally for the Huntsville Havoc in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) before starting his coaching career. Wilkinson completed his master’s degree in health and kinesiology, with a concentration in exercise science, in 2023 from the University of Nebraska Omaha.
