Vincent Caligiuri enters his second season as an Assistant Coach for the Williams College men's ice hockey team during the 2025-26 academic year.
During the 2024-25 season, he helped coach Grant Fuchsen '28 who was named to the NESCAC All-Conference Second Team. The Ephs also swept NESCAC rivals Tufts and Connecticut College, going 4-0 against the teams combined.
During the 2023-24 year, he spent time as an Assistant Coach for the NCAA Division I Princeton University men's ice hockey team. He worked with forwards in weekly individual meetings, while implementing and executing individual and group development plans. Caligiuri reviewed game film with individual student-athletes, assisted in planning and running practices and scouted opponents. He also recruited throughout North America, establishing relationships with students, families, advisers and coaches.
Prior to becoming an Assistant Coach for the Tigers' men's ice hockey team, Caligiuri worked as the Director of Hockey Operations during the 2022-23 season. He conducted in-game video analysis, while offering strategic recommendations for game-play adjustments. He was also responsible for on-ice challenges and video reviews, while supervising the logistical aspects of team travel, including meal arrangements, bus and hotel bookings and itineraries.
Caligiuri was the Head Coach of the New Hampshire Avalanche from 2019-22, recording a three-year cumulative record of 91-20-8. He was the 2022 EHLP All-Star Game Coach and won the 2019-20 EHLP Coach of the Year award, while his team was two-time EHLP regular-season champions. Caligiuri's expertise in the sport of ice hockey led 40 players to a higher tier of competition.
From 2020-21, Caligiuri was an Eastern Regional Scout for the Des Moines Buccaneers and attended games across the eastern United States to scout 15O, 16u and 18u players for both phase 1 & 2 drafts. He accumulated reports and compiled a rating list, while using RinkNet and developing an advanced knowledge of the software.
Caligiuri has spent time as a USA Atlantic District Camp Evaluator, Ivy Matterhorn Coach, First Contact Camp Coach, NCD Camp Coach and Presenter and AHA Camp Coach and Presenter.
He played NCAA Division III Ice Hockey at SUNY Potsdam from 2013-17, serving as a captain for the team. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications (Speech) in 2017. From 2011-13, Caligiuri played for the Hartford Jr. Wolfpack, serving as a captain, and then from 2017-19, he played in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL).
