Jeremy Hecker

Jeremy Hecker skied for the College of St. Scholastica NCAA DIII, varsity Nordic program.  During his time at Scholastica, Hecker qualified for the NCAA Championships twice (2012 & 2013) with a top best result of 11th (20km Skate, 2013).

After receiving a B.S. in Exercise Physiology from Scholastica, Hecker went on to become Lead Coach for Endurance United Ski Club (St. Paul, MN). Through Endurance United, Hecker helped multiple athletes qualify for Scandinavian Cup trips and U.S. Junior National Championship podiums. Realizing he wanted more from coaching, Hecker went back to school to obtain a Master’s degree in the Biology of Physical Activity, with a focus on Sports coaching and Fitness Testing (Jyväskylä, Finland). Upon graduating in 2016, Hecker joined Stratton Mountain School as an assistant coach and worked with the best junior and senior athletes in the country.

“I am really excited to begin working with the student-athletes at Williams,” Hecker stated. “My four years of participation on the ski team at St. Scholastica changed my life and my feelings towards Nordic skiing as a life long sport. If I can help give the student-athletes at Williams the same experience I had in college, I will be happy. I’m looking forward to working in the Williams community, and helping the team strive for success.”
