Jeff Huffman

Jeff Huffman is in his sixth season in an official capacity with the Williams soccer program. He is the goalkeeper coach and head reserve team coach, while serving as administrative and video coordinator.

Huffman started his coaching career in 2000 as an insructor for Star Goalkeeper Academy. In 2001, he served on the staff of both the U-18 Super Y League and W-League Northern Virginia Majestics. The Super Y team won the inaugural U-18 national championship, while the W-League team produced the league's Goalkeeper of the Year.

In 2002-2003, Huffman was the goalkeeper coach for both the men's and women's programs here at Williams, while serving as the men's reserve team head coach in 2002. During this time Coach Huffman oversaw the development of Nick Armington, who moved on to be one of only two NCAA Division III goalkeepers to ever be part of an MLS regular season roster.

In 2004, Huffman moved to Garden City Community College (KS) as head men's and women's coach (2004-2006) and as head women's soccer coach/director of soccer operations (2007-2009). He had a winning percentage of .625 as head men's coach, while seeing his women's program make the Region VI Tournament four out of five seasons.

In 2010, Huffman was the men's goalkeeper coach at NCAA Division 1 SUNY-Albany. While at Williams in 2012, goalkeeper Than Finan was named a Second Team D3soccer.com All-American. Finan was the first All-American goalkeeper produced at Williams in 25 seasons. In 2013, goalkeeper Peter Morrell was named Second Team NSCAA New England North.

After earning an Associate of Arts degree in management from Hagerstown [MD] Community College, Huffman graduated from Shepherd University in 1999 with a degree in marketing, while minoring in economics.

Huffman holds an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and an NSCAA Level 3 Goalkeeper Diploma.

He is employed full-time outside of Williams at Interprint.
