During track season, Lehman coaches the Ephs' men's and women's long distance squad. His athletes have earned six All-America honors indoors in the 3K, 5K, and 10K.  This includes Peter Hale, 2017 national champion in the 3K and USTFCCCA National Indoor Track Athlete of the Year.

Lehman began his coaching career at the North Carolina School of Science and
Mathematics in 2006, while working in the school's Department of Residence
Life. During his tenure as head coach of men's and women's cross country and track,
the Unicorns won three state championships and were five-time state runners-
up. His athletes garnered fifteen individual state titles and broke school records in
eighteen events.

Lehman comes to Williams after a brief hiatus from coaching, during which time he hiked the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine.

A graduate of Davidson College with a B.A. in Sociology, Lehman was a four-year
member of the Wildcats' track and cross-country teams. He served as captain of
both squads as a senior. He holds a USTFCCCA Specialist Certification and a USATF Level II Certification, both in the endurance events.
