Williamstown, MA- The Williams College men's golf team finished third in their home event over the weekend, shooting an overall team score of 621. The Ephs struggled to put together a solid team score, but their lineup did feature a fine individual performance from first-year Beau David on Sunday. David battled gusting winds and spring-condition greens on his way to shooting a second round 75. Junior Jake Foehl and Sophomore Sam Goldenring both came in with 79, while sophomore Will Kannegieser went around the golf course in 81 shots.

The second lowest round for the Ephs on Sunday came from one of their individuals, first-year Wyatt Khosrowshahi, who fired a 78.

Williams has one more week to iron out any kinks in their game before next weekend's NESCAC Championship which will be played at Indian Hill Golf Club, the home course of Trinity College. Williams will also play a mid-week event, the Little Three Championship, at TPC River Highlands on Wednesday.
