WILLIAMSTOWN, MA -- The Williams College men's ice hockey team is joining the rest of the NESCAC men's ice hockey teams to raise money for men's health by holding a Movember game Saturday, Nov. 21 at 7:00 p.m. in Lansing Chapman Rink.
The Ephs will be playing their season-opener and first NESCAC game against the Bowdoin Polar Bears Saturday evening.
At the rink as fans enter there will be fake mustaches for sale, a team-signed stick up for raffle, and fans can vote for best Eph player mustache. All proceeds go to the Movember Foundation for men's health.
Junior forward George Hunkele is coordinating the Ephs' fundraising efforts.
A year ago the NESCAC men's ice hockey teams raised more than $26,000 with 229 student-athletes participating. The goal this year is to raise $30,000.
