Zander Masucci Named First Team All-East Region by

WILLIAMSTOWN, MA – Williams College senior captain and defenseman Zander Masucci (Far Hills, NJ) has added yet another honor to his growing hockey resume being named to the All-East Region First Team.

Masucci was the lone NESCAC player to earn First Team All-East honors. named three teams in the East and three on the West and these honorees will be under consideration for the All-American teams to be announced in the near future.

Previously this season Masucci was named to the All-NESCAC First Team, named the NESCAC Player of the Year, and named a First Team All-American by the American Hockey Coaches Association. Masucci was a key factor in the Ephs posting the best regular season record in NESCAC (14-2-2), the most wins in one season by the Ephs (19-6-2), and making the program's first ever appearance in the NCAA Division III Hockey Championship.

Masucci was second on the Eph team in points this winter with 20 on seven goals and 13 assists. Both of Masucci's game-winning goals came in one-goal wins over NESCAC foe Trinity. In his career Masucci played in 99 games for the Ephs, scoring 12 goals and assisting on 28 goals for a career point total of 40.
