Sophomore Alex Kitt Named Co-Men’s NESCAC Lacrosse Player of the Week

HADLEY, MA – Williams College sophomore Alex Kitt a face-off midfielder from Potomac, Md. was named Co-NESCAC Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week for his role in the Ephs downing two nationally ranked teams last week.

Kitt helped the Ephs down #15 RPI on the road 16-7 giving RPI it first loss of the season and then on Saturday at home vs. #11 Bates he also stood out on face-offs.

Kitt won 37-of-56 face-offs (62.5 percent) in two wins. In Troy, N.Y. against RPI, he won 18-of- 23 face-offs, collected eight ground balls, and scored a goal. In a 16-14 conference win over Bates on Farley-Lamb Field on Saturday, he won 19-of-33 face-offs, secured 15 ground balls, and added one assist.

Kitt shared the award with Tufts' senior attack Danny Murphy.
