KANSAS CiTY, MO – One of three senior captains on Erin Sullivan's squad, Demian Gass was a key part of the 2019 Williams College men's soccer team that advanced to the NESCAC Semifinals and finished 8-4-5 (5-2-3) in NESCAC play.

The forward was selected as a member of the United Soccer Coaches Association of America Third Team.

Gass started in all 17 games this season and led the team in scoring with seven goals and claimed one assist. He led the team in points with 15. Two of his seven goals were game-winners which also led the team in 2019.

Gass started 28 of 39 games for the Ephs while scoring 14 goals and one assist for 29 total points. Six of his goals won games for the Ephs.

"Demian had a tremendous senior season and was one of the most lethal attacking players, not only in the NESCAC but, in all of New England," Sullivan said. "His blinding pace and athletic prowess created so much offense for our team and led to some truly incredible moments in front of the goal. His resilience in recovering from prior surgeries to start every single match and log major minutes in his senior season only further demonstrates his physical and mental toughness."

Gass is the first Williams College men's soccer All-American since Matt Muralles in 2013 and he is the first All-American under Erin Sullivan.
