WILLIAMSTOWN, MA – Nineteen members of Ethan Barron's first NESCAC Champion Williams College men's track & field team earned All-NESCAC honors in fourteen events in helping the Ephs win their first NESCAC title since 2011.

While the Eph team claimed its first NESCAC title in five years it was the fourth consecutive NESCAC title won by new head coach Ethan Barron. The Ephs' win in 2016 snapped a three-year run by the Tufts University Jumbos that were previously coached by Barron.

Last spring the Ephs finished second at the NESCAC meet held on their own Lee Track when Tufts scored 169.333 points to the Ephs'164. This year Barron's Ephs racked up 207 points to overtake the 182 points registered by second place Tufts.

Eph senior captains Kat Ofori-Atta and Bijan Mazaheri were double winners on the day. Ofori-Atta won both the 100m (10.82) and 200m (21.86), while Mazaheri fashioned wins in both the 10k (30:55.72) and 5k (14:41.45).

The top three finishers in each event earn All-NESCAC laurels.
