Chris Lee and Bijan Mazaheri Earn NESCAC Honors

Williams College junior Chris Lee (Longmeadow, Mass.) earned Second Team All-NESCAC honors in 2011, but this year he moved up to First Team honors by finishing 7th in the field of 124 in 24:36 at the 2012 NESCAC Championship race held at Bowdoin College.

Capturing NESCAC Rookie of the Year honors this fall by placing first among freshmen in the NESCAC Championship race was Eph first year Bijan Mazaheri (Wellesley, Mass.) Mazaheri traversed the 8k course at Bowdoin in 25:43.

The Ephs finished fifth at the NESCAC Championship race and will be looking to make some improvements and adjustments in time for the NCAA Regional race that serves as the qualifier for the NCAA Championships. The NCAA Regional this fall is being hosted by Westfield [MA] State University on November 10th.
