Men's Cross Country Earns USTFCCCA Team & Individual Academic Honors

NEW ORLEANS -- Peter Farwell's 2019 Williams men's cross country team that finished third at the NCAA Championship race has earned team and individual academic honors from the United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). 

For a team to be considered for the USTFCCCA's team academic award, it must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional meet and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.10 on a 4.0 scale. 

The Eph team GPA is 3.61.

Seven Eph runners earned USTFCCCA individual academic honors this season with junior Ryan Cox and sophomore Aidan Ryan rbeing honored for the third consecutive year.

In order to qualify for this honor, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 and finish in the top 25 percent of their respective regional championship meet.
