SALEM, VA. — Williams College senior captain Mo Frank (Amherst, MA) was selected as a 2015 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Second Team All-American, it was announced Wednesday.
Frank is the fifth Williams player to earn All-America accolades, and the first since Ali Hart was named to the First Team in 2012.
Williams concluded its season with a 32-9 mark, the third time inprogram history an Eph team had surpassed the 30-win mark in a single season. Frank led the Ephs with a .450 batting average, a .510 on-base percentage and walks with 16. She was second with 58 hits and 11 stolen bases and third in slugging percentage at .551, knocking out four triples and five doubles this season.
Frank finished with a career batting average of .369, 8th-best all-time at Williams. She had seven career triples, sixth-best at the school, and 160 total bases, 16th best. Her 2015 single season was one of the finest put together by a member of the Ephs softball program as she put together six totals which were among the top 10-best single-season performances at the institution.
Previously, Frank was a All-NESCAC First Team selection, as well as a Capital One District I All-Academic Softball First Team member and a NFCA All-New England First Team selection.
