Williamstown, MA --The Ephs were finally able race giant slalom at the Dartmouth Skiway yesterday after the GS portion of the Dartmouth Carnival was cancelled last weekend.  There were no carnival points to be had, but the race did count towards NCAA qualification.  The sun was out and the snow was firm and grippy which made a great day of racing for the Ephs.

Junior Paul Sheils had a spectacular day! Sheils placed 12th, scoring his best result to date.  Behind Sheils was senior Stockton Troyer in 51st

The women's team was led by senior Hannah Hunsaker who placed 28th.  Sophomore Maddie Dekko finished 39th, freshman Nadine Levey finished 40th, and senior Gibson Donnan placed 49th.  Captain Hannah Hunsaker commented: "Overall it was a tough day yesterday but having Paul Sheils step up to the challenge has been great for the team! We are ready to recharge and ski fast at our final carnival next weekend."

The Ephs head to Sunday River, ME next weekend for Bates Carnival.
