LAKE PLACID, NY – The Williams Nordic team hosted its annual relay race today and their results were almost as impressive as the clear blue skies and perfect corduroy snow. As the temperatures rose from yesterday's sub-zero weather, the team warmed up for the one race of the season that really makes the athletes feel as though they are competing in a team sport.
The races today for both men and women were a 3-person by 5k skate race on a 2-lap 2.5k course.

Once the men finished their race and were cooling down by strategically placing themselves throughout the course to cheer on the ladies, the Eph women started their race. The first Williams Nordic women's team was comprised of senior captain Ingird Thyr, freshman Hadassah Lurbur and freshman Lilly Bates. This speedy team ended their day in 9th place out of 29 relay teams. The second team was made up of senior Carmen Bango, sophomore Siri Bohacek and sophomore Jenae Rassmusen.
