Four Ephs Earn WGCA All-American Scholar Honors

CORAL SPRINGS, FLORIDA – Four members of Tomas Adalsteinsson's 2019 Williams College women's golf team that finished second at the NCAA DIII Championships have earned Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar honors.

To earn All-American Scholar honors from the WGCA a golfer must possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50.

Senior Cori Chan, who won the 2019 NCAA DIII Individual title this year at Bay Oaks Country Club in Houston and earned First Team All-American recognition this spring was honored for the fourth consecutive year 

Senior Isabella Wang, sophomore Mehr Sawant, and first year Olivia White earned their first WGCA All-American Scholar laurels. 

In addition, Tomas Adalsteinsson was named the DIII WGCA East Region and DIII National Coach of the Year in 2019.
