HADLEY, MA – Williams College senior forward and captain Cristina Bravi (Montreal, Quebec) has been named the Co-NESCAC Player of the Week in Women's Ice Hockey. Bravi shares the award with Annabelle Jones a senior goalie at Middlebury.

Bravi scored eight points on three goals and five assists in three games for the Ephs, leading them to a 3-0 week and extending their unbeaten streak to five games (4-0-1).

In a 4-0 win over Colby that gave Williams a sweep of the conference rival Mules, Bravi had two power-play goals. The night before in the 2-1 overtime win overs Colby, she assisted the game-tying goal in the third period.

Earlier in the week, she scored one goal and added four assists in a 9-0 win over New England College.

Bravi and her Eph teammates have fashioned a 6-1-1 record since New Year's day, which also mirrors their NESCAC record. Overall the Ephs are 9-6-1 this season.

Currently Bravi leads the team in goals scored (14) and with 10 assists is also the team's leader in points with 24. This winter she has netted two game-winning goals, two short-handed goals, three power play tallies, and one game-tying goal this season.

In 85 games at Williams Bravi has tallied 34 goals and registered 36 assists for 70 career points.
