HADLEY, MA — Williams College junior goaltender Chloe Billadeau (Chaska, MN) was chosen as the NESCAC Women's Hockey Player of the Week for play ending Sunday, March 9.
Billdeau stopped 60 of the 61 shots she faced while leading the Ephs to their first NESCAC Championship in porgram history. She posted her eighth shutout of her career by stopping 32 shots in a 2-0 semifinal win against Conn. College, then followed that up by stopping 28 of 29 shots faced in a 4-1 win over Bowdoin in the NESCAC Championship game Sunday.
Currently, Billadeau has a 2.56 goals against average and a .904 save percentage this season. The Ephs will take on No. 1 Plattsburgh Saturday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at 3 p.m.
