HADLEY, MA – Williams sophomore defenseman Hanna Beattie (Whitehouse Station, NJ) has been accorded First Team All-NESCAC honors for the second consecutive year in a vote of the conference's coaches.

Beattie, the 2014 NESCAC Rookie of the Year, was fourth among all league players with 10 assists in conference competition. She also ranked third among defenders in scoring with 10 points.

"It is great to see Hanna recognized for this award," commented Eph head coach Meghan Gillis. "Hanna was part our strong defensive core, spending time on both the power play and penalty kill units. The league continues to be extremely competitive, and this year was no different. To have a member of our team recognized is great for the program as a whole. I look forward to seeing Hanna continue to grow and develop as a top two-way defenseman."

Beattie led the Eph offense this season from the blue line, notching 3 goals and posting a team high 13 assists for 16 points.

Playing in all 25 games this season and all 28 games her first season, Beattie has tallied 17 goals and 31 assists giving her 48 points in 53 games.
