First Year Forward Meghan Halloran Earns Second Team All-NESCAC Honors

HADLEY, MA – Williams College first year forward Meghan Halloran (Darien, CT) has been named Second Team All-NESCAC in a vote by the conference coaches.

In her first intercollegiate campaign Halloran played in all 25 games. Eph head coach Meghan Gillis stated, "Meghan was a contributor through her whole first season. We relied on her both offensively and defensively as a key member of the penalty kill and power play."

Halloran led the Ephs in assists and points and was second in goals scored. Halloran tallied 10 goals this winter (second best on the team), two game-winners, registered 16 assists for a total of 26 points. One of Halloran's goals was a short-handed tally and she also notched a power play goal.

"The thing that stands out is Meghan's work ethic, competitiveness, and drive to improve," added Gillis. "Despite leading our team in points all season she always wanted to get better and put the time in needed to do that."
