HADLEY, MA – Williams College sophomore forward Meghan Halloran (Darien Conn.) was named the NESCAC Women's Ice Hockey Player of the Week for her role in the Ephs' second win of the season.

Halloran scored the first and last goals for the Ephs in their 4-3 win over Endicott College. Her first goal came at 17:01 of the first period on a power play opportunity.

Williams opened up a 3-0 lead, but the Endicott Gulls came back with two consecutive goals, one in the second period, and their second came at 4:54 of the third period.

Halloran netted the eventual game winner at 13:23 when she scored an even strength goal that was assisted by Bri Laycock and Mia Carroll. Just over three minutes later Endicott scored to make the final score 4-3.

"Meghan is a great two-way forward for us and has played a key role in both of her seasons here at Williams," noted Eph head coach Meghan Gillis. "We can rely on her to compete at both ends of the ice, both even strength, and on penalty kill and power play. She is always working to try and better her skills and her game through practice sessions and video. Meghan wants to see the team be successful and puts the team first."
