Meghan Halloran chosen as NESCAC Player of the Week again

HADLEY, MA — Williams College sophomore Meghan Halloran (Darien, CT) was selected as the New England Small College Athletic Conference Women's Ice Hockey Player of the Week for play ending Sunday, January 20. 

It is the third time this season Halloran has earned the NESCAC's weekly honor. 

Halloran had a hand in seven of the Ephs' eight goals as she tallied seven points in three games last week. In a 4-0 win at Salve Regina, she scored twice and added two assists. In a 3-2 win at Connecticut College, she had a hand in all three goals for Williams, scoring twice, including the game-winner, and handing out an assist. Of her four goals, three were on the power play and one was short handed. She leads the Ephs with 26 points (11 goals, 15 assists). She leads the conference in points (26), goals (11), assists (15), points per game (1.62), power-play points (13), power-play goals (5) and short-handed goals (2).
