HADLEY, MA — Williams College sophomore Chloe Heiting (Woodbury, MN) has been chosen as the New England Small College Athletic Conference Player of the Week for play ending Sunday, Janaury 12th.
Heiting stopped all 44 shots she faced last week, leading the Ephs to a twogame sweep of conference opponent Trinity, 2-0 and 3-0. Heiting stopped 23 shots in the win over the Bantams Friday, including 13 alone in the second period during a scoreless tie. She stopped 21 shots in the rematch Saturday, including 15 in the third period as the Ephs held expanded a 2-0 lead.
Heiting has a .945 save percentage to date this season with a 1.46 goals against average. The Ephs play at Amherst Friday night at 7 and then play the Mammoths Saturday night at home at 7 p.m.
