WILLIAMSTOWN, MASS. – Williams College junior midfielder Claire Fitzpatrick has garnered national attention with her selection the 2020 Inside Lacrosse Women's DIII Media All-American as an Honorable Mention honoree.
Twice previously Fitzpatrick has been voted to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association All-Berkshire Region Team.
In the corona virus shortened season due to the pandemic Fitzpatrick led the Ephs in scoring with 14 goals. She also assisted on three goals for 17 points, won 18 draw controls, picked up 9 ground balls, and caused 6 turnovers.
"Claire is a solid force all over the field and is one of the most competitive people I know," said Eph head coach Alice Lee. "Though our season was cut short, I have no doubt she will come back with the same competitive hunger as a senior.
Fitzpatrick has started all 34 games in her career in the Purple Valley and she has tallied 68 goals (2 goals/game) and has assisted on 33 goals for a career total of 101 points. She has also won 88 draw controls, collected 80 ground balls, and caused 50 turnovers.
