Stephanie Mauer enters her second season as an Assistant Coach for the Williams College men's and women's cross country and track & field teams during the 2025-26 academic year.

During the 2024 season, the men's and women's cross country teams emerged victorious during the NESCAC Championship. The women's team placed first overall during the NCAA Regional Championship, while earning a third-place finish at the national meet. The men's team placed second and 10th overall, respectively, during the regional and national meets.

During the 2023-24 season, Mauer served as an Assistant Coach for the men's and women's cross country and track & field programs at NCAA Division I Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. In that role, she recruited and coached student-athletes in multiple events and organized meet and travel logistics. Mauer led fundraising efforts for the programs, while implementing individualized student-athlete development plans and ensured NCAA compliance.

At Hofstra, she coached four All-Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) student-athletes and two NCAA Division I national qualifiers, while 12 school records were broken during her time. Mauer helped recruit the largest women's incoming class in Hofstra's history. The team was also successful in the classroom, with the men's team achieving GPAs of 3.38 and 3.57 in the fall and spring semesters, respectively, while the women posted marks of 3.37 and 3.54.

Prior to her time at Hofstra, Mauer was employed as an Analyst and Associate Scientist at QPS Holdings. She also spent time as an Athletic Trainer Assistant and Intern for the Rutgers University Sports Medicine department from January-May 2020. Mauer assisted the Athletic Trainer in treatment and recovering programs for student-athletes and prepared the game-day environment.

During July 2025, Mauer earned her Level 1 certification from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Mauer earned a bachelor's in exercise science and a minor in religion from Rutgers in August 2020, and then furthered her education with a Master of Arts in Religious Studies from Rutgers in January 2023.
