Andrew Dorr enters his fourth season as an Assistant Coach of the Williams College Men's and Women's Tennis teams in 2025-26. Supporting both teams, he works closely with Men's Head Coach Dan Greenberg and Women's Head Coach Anik Cepeda across all aspects of the programs.
During his time with the women's tennis program, five student-athletes have earned All-American honors: Jane Ladaga, Katherine Orgielewicz, Yuu Ishikawa, Annabelle Siegel and Erica Ekstrand. Five men student-athletes have also earned All-American status during his time at Williams: Matt Kandel, Nicholas Chen, Chase Cohen, Shawn Berdia and Jason Shuler.
During the 2023 season, Orgielewicz qualified for the NCAA Individual Championships in singles and doubles action, while Ishikawa joined her in doubles competition. Ekstrand reached the semifinals of the NCAA Individual Singles Championship in 2024, winning her first three matches. Ekstrand and Ishikawa emerged victorious in the Round of 16 for doubles, and then fell in the quarterfinal round. The complete team qualified for the 2024 NCAA Championship, falling in a back-and-forth match, 5-4, to then-No. 7-ranked Johns Hopkins in the second round.Â
On the men's side, the Ephs reached the third round of the NCAA Tournament in each of Dorr's first two years, going 2-2 on the national stage. Additionally, Kandel reached the final of the NCAA Individual Singles Championship in 2023.
From 2014-15, Dorr served as the Director of Operations for the University of Virginia men's tennis team. In 2015, he helped UVA win the NCAA Championship and directed the ITF Futures Tournament in Charlottesville, Virginia. Prior to joining Williams, Dorr worked in an administrative capacity at Northwestern University and spent time as a higher-education consultant.Â
Dorr holds a bachelor's degree in government and religious studies and a master's degree in higher education administration, from the University of Virginia, earning the degrees in 2012 and 2015, respectively. He is a native of Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
