WILLIAMSTOWN, MA— Another unbeaten season at its own Cole Field behind them now, the Williams College women's soccer team will hit the road to see if it can reach the Div. III Tournament Final Four for the second consecutive season.
William Smith earned the right to host the NCAA Tournament Sectionals. Two games will be played Saturday and the winners will meet on Sunday to see which team will advance to the national semifinals in Kansas City, Mo.
William Smith (18-1-1) will take on No. 11 Brandeis (15-2-4) on Saturday, Nov. 21 on Cozzens Field at 11 a.m. The Judges played to a 1-1 double overtime tie with No. 16 Amherst, and advanced 3-2 on penalty kicks.
The second game on Saturday will be played at 1:30 p.m. and will feature No. 6 Williams (18-1-1) and No. 14 Stevens (18-3-1). The Ephs defeated TCNJ 3-0 in their second round match, and the Ducks topped Bowdoin 4-1 to advance to this weekend. Saturday's winners will meet on Sunday at 1 p.m. on Cozzens Field for a spot in the national semifinals.
Tickets are $6 for general admission, $3 for students, senior citizens and military personnel, and $2 for children ages 3-12.
