HADLEY, MA — Williams College senior Kristi Kirshe (Franklin, MA) has been chosen as the New England Small College Athletic Conference Player of the Week for play ending Sunday, October 2.
Kirshe had two goals and three assists for seven points in a 2-0 week for the Ephs. She also broke the all-time school record for points in the process. She scored the game-winner in a 1-0 win at Connecticut College to hand the Camels their first loss of the year. She added a goal and three assists in a win over Castleton.
Kirshe's five points in the win over Castleton allowed her to surpass Stacey Starner '03 (97 points) as the all-time leading scorer in Williams history. Kirshe now has 102 points (40 goals, 22 assists) in 74 games at Williams. She is currently second on the Ephs in scoring this season with 4 goals and 6 assists for 14 points.
