Eileen Blumenauer

Eileen Blumenauer joined Michelyne Pinard’s staff in the summer of 2019, after serving the past four years as the head coach at Utica College.

Prior to coaching at Utica, Blumenauer spent three seasons as a graduate assistant coach at St. Lawrence University and was an assistant coach at Endicott College for one year.

Blumenauer earned a Master's degree in Education-School Counseling from St. Lawrence University in the spring of 2013.  She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from SUNY Geneseo in the winter of 2009 and she also has an associate's degree of arts and sciences from Herkimer County Community College (HCCC). 

As a forward at HCCC, Blumenauer earned First Team National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-America as well as Mohawk Valley Collegiate Conference Player of the Year honors in both 2005 and 2006. In the Fall of 2005, she helped guide the Generals to an appearance in the NJCAA Tournament.  Blumenauer also played lacrosse for two seasons at HCCC and in 2014 she was inducted into the HCCC Hall of Fame.

At SUNY Geneseo Blumenauer competed in women's soccer and lacrosse, earning SUNYAC All-Conference laurels in women's soccer, leading the Knights to a SUNYAC Conference Championship and an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2009.

Following her collegiate career, Blumenauer played professionally for the Rochester Ravens of the United Soccer League in 2010 & 2011.
