WILIAMSTOWN, MA – At the conclusion of the NESCAC Championship Meet each year the top performers in NESCAC for the year and for a career are honored.
Two standouts on the 2019 NESCAC Champion Eph team, winners of six straight NESCAC titles, were recognized with sophomore Laura Westphal being named the 2019 NESCAC Swimmer of the Year and senior Alison McNamara won the 4-Year High Point Swimmer Award..

4-Year High Point
Alison McNamara won the 4-Year High Point Swimmer Award. She is the 13th Eph to win the award, joining Amy Warren (2001), Cristin Brennan (2002), Zibby Stokes (2003), Meredith Olson (2004), Lindsay Payne (2006), Amanda Nicholson (2009), Logan Todhunder (2012), Caroline Wilson (2013), Sarah Thompson (2015), Megan Pierce (2017), Emma Waddell (2018).
All-NESCAC recognition is awarded to individual competitors in swimming and diving who finish in the top three in an individual event or as a member of a relay team.
Williams won all five of the relay races this year, Ten Ephs won individual swimming titles, five swimmers and one diver captured second place finishes, and Ephs finished in third place in three races:
