MIDDLEBURY, Vt. On the third and final day of the Middlebury Invite the Williams women's tennis team captured seven of eight doubles matches played against Amherst and Brandeis.

The Ephs took three of four from Amherst and won all four against Brandeis Sunday, giving them 9 doubles wins in the four contests played. Splitting their doubles matches with Middlebury on Friday evening left the Ephs with a record of 9-3 for the weekend.

"It was really fun to do the tournament with all doubles today," said Eph head coach Alison Swain. "We played with a lot of energy and enjoyed being on the court as a team for the last time this fall season. I think overall we have some great takeaways and at the same time demonstrated a lot of improvement throughout the fall season."

The Ephs will next compete on Mar. 11, 2017 when they travel to Hamilton for the first match of their spring campaign.
