SAN DIEGO, CA – The Ephs (8-0) continued their successful spring on Wednesday, defeating San Diego Christian College (7-6) by a score of 8-1. They will wrap up their California trip with a match against Pomona-Pitzer on Friday at 3:00 PM EDT before returning to Williamstown for their first home match on April 7th.

Two doubles matches and five singles matches were played on the day, with San Diego forfeiting two due to injury.

"Today was about staying adaptable and managing our own energy levels on court," said Ephs head coach Anik Cepeda, "We'll need to up it for Pomona."

In doubles, seniors Mia Gancayco and Giulia McDonnell Nieto del Rio paired up against Hawks Sarah Schaerer and Aleksandra Emelianova for an 8-4 victory while the team of Korina Neveux '19 and Emily Zheng '20 earned an 8-2 win over Miriam Boeta and Paula Vazquez.
