WILLIAMSTOWN, MA – The Oracle ITA New England Regional Women's Tennis Championships will be played Friday through Sunday Sept. 28 – Sept. 30 on the Torrence M. Hunt Tournament Courts at Williams College. Play Friday and Saturday will begin at 9:00 a.m.
"It's a privilege to host ITAs - the players enjoy battling at home, the extra support is always appreciated, and we're familiar with the court surface," noted Eph head coach Anik Cepeda. "This tournament always takes the strongest players from the region which makes for exciting tennis. I'm curious to see how the tournament plays out this year and looking forward to watching the "tiny & mighty squad" flex some of what we've been practicing the last couple of weeks."
Should inclement weather intrude play will be moved indoors in the Lansing Chapman Rink on the Williams campus.
Nineteen teams in New England will have players competing in the singles tournament featuring 64 players and the doubles tournament will be comprised of 32 tandems.
The singles champion and the winning doubles team will earn All-America honors as well as qualify for advancement to the 2018 Oracle Cup.

The top-seeded doubles team is Victoria Yu and Kristina Yu from Wesleyan. Two Eph tandems are seeded in the top eight with the team of Chloe Henderson and senior Leah Bush are seeded second and the pairing of senior Korina Neveux and first year Maxine Ng are seeded fifth.
