Sophomore Emma Egan Named NESCAC Women's Field Performer of the Week

HADLEY, MA -- Williams College sophomore Emma Egan (Yarmouth, Maine) has been named the NESCAC Women's Field Performer of the Week for her efforts at the UC-Riverside Multi-Invitational.

At Riverside Egan posted a mark of 1.73 meters (5' 8") in the heptathlon high jump at the UC-Riverside Multi-Invitational. Her mark is good for the top spot in the NESCAC this spring.

Egan is coming off an indoor track season where she earned points in two events at the NCAA Championships helping the Eph team finish second.

In the high jump at the NCAAs she cleared 1.74 meters (5' 8") to place third and in the pentathlon she scored 3,341 points and placed eighth. With her top eight finishes Egan earend two All-American honors.
