ROXBURY CROSSING, MASS. –– Last Saturday two members of the Williams College women's track and field team travelled to the Reggie Lewis Indoor Track in Roxbury, Mass. to compete at the Howlin Husky Invitational hosted by Northeastern University. Senior Caity Ubl and sophomore Kelsie Hao competed against a predominantly Division I field that included Northeastern, Boston College, Boston University, and Holy Cross. Despite competing outside of Division III the Ephs more than held their own.

Caity Ubl had a stand out meet once again. Attacking the hurdles one by one, she championed the 60-meter hurdles in 8.85 seconds. This performance places her second on the Williams all-time list. Ubl also competed in the long jump, where she also performed well coming in second with a huge 5.42 meter (17' 9 1/3") jump.

Kelsie Hao also had a great meet in the pole vault. In just her second meet of the season, Hao vaulted 3.60 meters (11' 9 3/4"), a new indoor personal record. Her new PR placed Hao in fourth place at the meet.

This was the final competition for the Ephs in the first semester. They will return to competition January 12th when they battle Amherst and Wesleyan in the annual Little Three Meet hosted by Wesleyan University in Middletown, Conn.
