Williams Claims Two Wins at Union Invitational

SCHENECTADY, NY—The Eph volleyball team travelled to Union last night for two matches at the Union College Invitational.

First, the Ephs went up against Oneonta State (5-4). The Ephs easily took them down in three sets, 25-22, 25-12, and 25-17.

Emily Doll and Claire Miller both lead the offense last night against Oneonta with 12 kills each. Emily Doll was the dig leader with 10 digs, while Ryan Farley and Tori Jasuta were close behind with 9 digs each. Ryan Farley also had 41 assists.

In the second match of the night Williams defeated SUNY Cortland (5-6), in just three sets, 25-13, 25-20, and 25-14.

Tori Jasuta lead the offense with 12 kills, and Raea Rasmussen contributed 10 kills, with an impressive hitting percentage of .667. Junior libero, Mandy Schott, lead the defense with 16 digs. Ryan Farley had 30 assists.

Tonight's wins puts the Ephs' record at 6-1. Williams will return to Union today to play Skidmore and Hartwick.
