Tori Jasuta '17

HADLEY, MA – Williams first year Tori Jasuta (Manhattan Beach, CA) was named as the Women's Volleyball NESCAC Player of the Week after her stellar offensive and defensive performances helped the Ephs go on a 5-0 winning streak. After their weeknight non-conference victory over Vassar 3-1 and sweeping four teams at the Union Invitational this past weekend, the Ephs now stand at 8-1 overall.

Jasuta helped the Ephs fashion a 13-set win streak over the week.

Jasuta led the Ephs this past week offensively in both kills (63) and kills/set (3.94) and she additionally contributed 59 digs, giving her 3.69 digs/set. The rookie outside hitter finished with a .386 hitting percentage after the weekend.

Eph head coach Christi Kelsey commented, "Tori overall had a great week and was consistent in her all-around play in all five of our matches this week. Her performance I think is a testament to not only Tori's hard work, but the strength of our entire team's play so far this season. This is a great honor for Tori in her first year and for our team as well."
