HADLEY, MA – Williams College sophomore outside hitter Tori Jasuta (Manhattan Beach, Calif) has been named the NESCAC Player of the Week for leading the Ephs to three, 3-0 wins over the weekend, including conference defeats of Wesleyan and Trinity.

Jasuta is no stranger to NESCAC honors as last year she became the first NESCAC Player to be named both Rookie of the Year and Player of the Year.

This weekend Jasuta averaged 3.78 kills and 3.67 digs per set in the three road wins.

The three wins boosted the Ephs to 9-1 overall and 2-0 in NESCAC play.

Highlighting Jasuta's weekend play was her performance against Trinity when she authored 18 kills, 19 digs, (hitting.357), while also recording four service aces, four assists and two block assists.

This week Jasuta and the Ephs will play just one match, but it will be a big one as the Ephs will head east over the mountains into the Pioneer Valley to line up against archrival Amherst. The match is slated to begin at 7:00 PM Friday in Amherst's LeFrak Gymnasium.

Amherst is also 2-0 in NESCAC play and overall the Jeffs are 8-2 on the year.
