DANBURY, CT. — The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its 2015 Division III New England Volleyball All-Star Team, as voted on by representatives from the region's member institutions, Thursday, and Williams College senior setter Ryan Farley earned a spot on the second team.
"I'm really proud of Ryan and I know she would be humbled for her honor of Second Team ECAC-New England honor," noted Eph head coach Christi Kelsey. "It's been an incredible journey for Ryan and her senior class and this another honor well-deserved, which represents not only Ryan's hard work but her fellow seniors and our team as wel!."
Previously, Farley earned regional and national honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) as well as NEWVA honors. Farley was named to the AVCA All-Northeast Team and then was accorded Honorable Mention AVCA All-America honors. She was also named to the NEWVA First Team this fall. Farley, received All-NEWVA and AVCA regional honors and Honorable Mention AVCA All-America honors for the third year in a row.
Playing in 119 matches and 438 sets Farley contributed 345 kills, 4,343 assists (9.96/set), to go along with 169 service aces. She also recorded 920 digs and 156 blocks (19 solos).
