Grant Konkel enters his first year as the physical education, athletics and recreation department coordinator at Williams College during the 2026-27 season.
Previously, Konkel spent time as a game-day compliance monitor with Major League Baseball in Philadelphia. He served as an on-site compliance representative, ensuring adherence to MLB regulations and league policies. Konkel operated in a clubhouse and dugout environment, maintaining strict confidentiality and consistent communication with league officials through contests.
Furthermore, Konkel has worked as a government and public services specialist and a government and public services engagement financial advisers analyst at Deloitte in New York. From July-October 2023, he was employed with the operations crew for the Chicago Stars of the National Women's Soccer League.
Konkel's career has also seen him serve as vice president and chief operating officer with the Associated Students of the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. From August 2019 - December 2022, he was a sports program assistant at Puget Sound, assisting the athletic director with department operations, promotional strategy and community visibility initiatives.
Konkel earned a Bachelor of Arts in United States Politics and Government and International Political Economy from Puget Sound.
