Jeff Fritz

Jeff Fritz is in his first year as an assistant coach atWilliams after having spent the last nine years as the head boy'slacrosse coach at Byram Hills High School in Armonk, NY.

Fritz took over a Byram Hills program that was 3-12 the yearbefore he arrived and developed a program that posted twoundefeated league championships, two Section 1 quarterfinalsappearances, four semifinals, and played in two finals.

A 1979 business administration graduate of Washington & LeeUniversity, Fritz had a stellar career for the Generals, earningNCAA Division I All-America honors three times and serving as theteam captain his senior year.

Prior to attending Washington & Lee Fritz was a standout atEast Meadow High School, where he was also a captain and mostrecently was inducted into the East Meadow HS Hall of Fame.

After Washington & Lee Fritz played for the New YorkLacrosse Club where he was a captain, All-Club, and team MVP. Healso played professionally indoors for the New Jersey Saints andwith the Long Island Sachems (captain) outdoors,

Fritz was selected as an alternate for Team USA (1986) andplayed for the USA Stars in the 2002 Grandmaster Championship inPerth, Australia.

In 2007 Fritz was inducted into the Long Island Metro Hall ofFame.
