Kyle Koncz

Kyle Koncz begins his first season with the Williams Collegemen’s basketball program after spending the previous threeseasons as an assistant coach and teacher of Psychology at the LakeForest Academy in Lake Forest, IL.

During Koncz’s three seasons at Lake Forest, he helpedguide the basketball program to a 53-21 record, going 21-4 in2010-11.  As assistant coach, Koncz was responsible forpractice preparation, the recruiting of prospective studentathletes, and the off-season conditioning programs.  Many ofhis athletes have gone on to play collegiate basketball for highlysuccessful programs, including Oregon State University, DukeUniversity, and Rice University.

In addition to his coaching and teaching duties, Koncz has beenactively involved with Next Level Performance of Chicago, IL wherehe coached the 17U/16U AAU Team.

The Strongsville, OH, native played collegiately at PrincetonUniversity where he was a co-Captain for the 2008 team. Koncznotched the 5th most 3-pointers in Princetonhistory.

At Princeton, Koncz was a two-time recipient of the B.F. BunnAward. The award is presented annually to the team member whothrough sportsmanship, play and influence most greatly contributedto the sport.

Koncz graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology fromPrinceton in 2008.  His thesis was titled Social PhenomenaAffecting Today’s Student-Athlete.
