Michael Becker, LAT, ATC, Athletic Trainer

Michael Becker begins his third academic year as an Athletic Trainer for the Sports Medicine staff at Williams College in 2025-26.

Becker is a native and current resident of Bennington, Vermont, where he lives with his wife, Jamie, and daughter, Hadley. He graduated from Mount Anthony Union High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Ithaca College. Becker spent 12 years as an Athletic Trainer with the New York Yankees Minor League affiliates. Most recently, he was the Head Athletic Trainer for the Double-A Somerset Patriots in Bridgewater, New Jersey.

During his time with the Yankees Sports Medicine Department, he provided day-to-day treatments, evaluation and rehabilitation of injuries. Becker coordinated with team physicians and organizational department heads on surgical interventions and long-term rehabilitations. He also coordinated team travel and individual movement of players between cities and affiliates.

During his offseasons, he worked at Castleton University (Winter 2021) and the former Southern Vermont College (Fall 2017) as a Per Diem Athletic Trainer. Prior to joining the Yankees, he was an Intern in the Siena College Athletic Training Department from Summer 2011 - Winter 2011.
