Patrick Wales-Dinan

A native of Duxbury, VT,Patrick Wales-Dinan graduated from Milton [MA] Academy beforeobtaining a B.A. in Economics from Bates College (Lewiston, ME) in2005. While at Bates, Wales-Dinan was a two-time All-New Englandrunner and state champion at 800m. He was also part of Bates’2004 NCAA Championship cross-country team.

After graduating from Bates, Wales-Dinan was head coach ofcross-country, indoor, and outdoor track at Traip Academy (Kittery,ME) from 2005 – 2008. There he helped athletes to qualify forthe NSIC meet in New York and led his cross-country teams to topfive finishes in the state two consecutive years.

In 2008-09, Wales-Dinan was the assistant coach of women’scross-country and track at the University of Southern Maine(Gorham, ME) where he helped the Huskies win their 9th consecutiveLEC and Alliance League titles. He also served as the meet directorfor the 2008 Maine State Cross-Country Championships.
