Tanner McIntyre

Tanner McIntyre is in his first season as an assistant coach with the Williams College baseball program, workng primarily with the pitching staff. 

McIntyre is a graduate of Virginia Tech and played parts of three seasons for the Hokies after spending two years at Butte College. In 2014, his senior season, he appeared in 27 games, leading the team, and all but one was out of the bullpen. He had a 6.75 ERA in a total of 36.0 innings, struck out 32 batters and posted a 2-2 record with two saves. Was the recipient of the 2014 Johnny Oates award.

McIntyre entered his senior season with a perfect 10-0 record at Tech, that included a 7-0 mark in 2012 – all out of the bullpen – marking the first unblemished reliever record with at least seven wins since Jamie Patteson went 8-0 as a reliever in 1993.

Compiled an overall 12-6 mark at Butte in 26 starts and earned one save in two relief appearances. He posted a 4.02 ERA in 163.1 innings with 147 strikeouts, two complete games and one combined shutout. He was named Golden Valley All-Conference and All-Academic.
