Williams shuts out Bowdoin, 1-0

Box Score

BRUNSWICK, ME- Women's soccer has not been in many tight games this season, but Bowdoin (4-1-0, 2-1-0) certainly pushed Williams (6-0-0, 3-0-0) to their limit this afternoon.

Williams handled the high pressure match up well, keeping Bowdoin scoreless in the first half for the first time this season and remaining undefeated in conference and overall play.

The Ephs scored the only goal of the game five minutes into the second period.  Brianna Wolfson took the ball down the right side of the field field and blasted a perfectly placed line drive into the opposite corner to score the game-winning goal.  Wolfson leads the team in points thus far in the season with 4 goals and 5 assists.

Lauren Sinnenberg had busy outing at net, tallying 11 saves.  Kat Popoff had 7 saves for the Polar Bears.
