HADLEY, Mass. - Trinity College, the defending NESCAC
Women's Squash Champions, will host the three-day NESCAC
Women's Squash Championship in the George A. Kellner Squash
Center in Hartford, Conn. The tournament continues throughout the
weekend with championship bracket matches taking place at Trinity
and consolation matches at Wesleyan's Rosenbaum Squash
Center. The 2008 NESCAC Women's Squash Championship concludes
with the final match on Sunday, Feb. 3 at 2:00 p.m.
The Ephs are seeded second in the NESCAC Championship Tournament
for the second year in a row. Williams, which owns a 5-1 record
versus NESCAC opponents, has posted wins over Bates, Bowdoin,
Hamilton, Middlebury and Tufts, while losing to Trinity.
The Ephs first match of the tournament will take place on Saturday
at 1:15 pm when they face the winner of Friday's match between
10th-seeded Wesleyan and 6th-seeded Bowdoin.
Before heading to Hartford for the NESCAC Tournament the Ephs will
travel to Providence, RI to square off against Brown on January
30th.
