NEW LONDON, CT – The Williams College swimming and diving
team (1-0) kicked off the 2008-2009 season with a 180-108 win over
Connecticut College.
“We came out very strong today,” said head coach
Steve Kuster. “We looked deep across the boards.”
Nine of the Ephs came away with individual event wins. Posting
impressive numbers in two events each were senior Amanda Nichelson
(1000yd freestyle) and freshman Bonnie Patchen (200yd butterfly),
who teamed together to win the 200 yard medley relay.
The next contest for the Ephs comes against Boston College and
Fordham on December 6, meet time TBA.
